Getting Started with vLearn

This guide covers the process of signing up and getting started with vLearn. It mainly consists of two steps:

1. Sign Up

Go to the sign up page and authenticate using your email address.

There are two options for this:

  • If you have Google email, just click "Sign up with Google" button. You might be prompted to select you email address, so select the email address you prefer to register and continue.
  • Entering your email address and click "Sign up" button. You will shortly receive a verification email from us. Follow the link in the email.

Now fill the basic details required to sign up:

  • Your name - Your full name. It will not be visible to others.
  • Institute Id - Type an unique id for your institute.
  • Institute Public Name - This would be publicly visible name of your institute.
  • Country - The country where you belong to.
  • Password and Repeat Password - This is the password of the admin of the institute. It must be at least five characters long.

Check the "I'm not a robot" box. You might be asked a few questions so please answer them. Finally press the "Register" button.

2. Basic Settings

Your institute is registered successfully! The setup page at URL https://<Your Institute Id>.vlearn.app/admin will be opened.

Here, you will have to enter some basic settings for your institute:
  • Institute's primary language - This is the primary language of your institute. The students' learning portal will be visible in the selected language.
  • Students portal's settings - Here you can set the details required for each student, how students will log into their learning portal ans so on. If you are having trouble understanding any option, leave it to its default value.
  • Learning portal's theme and logo - Customize the theme color of the learning portal. If you have logo, you may upload it for better students' experience.

Now your learning management system is ready to be used. Students portal can be accessed at: https://<Your Institute Id>.vlearn.app/. Teachers / Admin portal can be accessed at: https://<Your Institute Id>.vlearn.app/admin.
